Sara Jansen Perry is an assistant professor of management in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
She is an expert in how employees and leaders experience stress at work, including in remote work settings.
She has been consulted recently by the New York Times and other media outlets with regard the broad roll-out of remote work across the world in response to COVID-19.
In addition to her research, Dr. Perry teaches negotiation and conflict management and human resource management staffing.
She also consults with organizations on topics related to organizational culture, leadership, and employee stress.
She received her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston, and she has a bachelors of science from the University of Missouri in Computer Science.
She spent several years in the high-tech industry before returning to graduate school to study the phenomena she observed in the day-to-day life of the world of work.
