“I am, by calling, a dealer in words; and words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.”
― Rudyard Kipling
It’s no secret that our attention spans are shrinking. Social media, smart devices, sound bites, YouTube, etc. make it difficult to focus. With this in mind, we began thinking about time-tested wisdom that is quick and easy to digest. Poetry, yes poetry, came to mind. Specifically, poems that pack a lot of timeless wisdom into a small package.
In Episode 055, we discuss the Rudyard Kipling classic, IF. Although this work seems to be a letter from a caring parent to a child, it’s much more than that. An incredible amount of wisdom to unpack, but we do our best to condense what we learned into one episode. We hope you enjoy, comment, and interact with us via our network!
